Setting the Youth Up for Success
Growing up and even still today, I have always been a major sports enthusiast and player. Sports account for some of my best memories throughout my childhood, and I have learned so many life lessons from them. Organized sports build important relationships, teach discipline, keep you active and healthy, among many other benefits.

Benefits Galore
As mentioned before, there are so many benefits to getting involved in sports, especially at a young age. Sports can teach many social skills to children. Examples include giving them a sense of belonging, providing them with an opportunity to make new friends, and developing cooperation skills that can eventually help them in school and the real world.
Additionally, sports serve as a way to stay in shape and keep you/your kids healthy. It is an efficient and effective way to burn calories and also put on muscle. Not only does it aid your physical health, but your mental health flourishes too when playing sports. Physical activity works your brain and activates neurotransmitters in your brain that make you feel better and relieve stress.
Sports can also boost self-esteem in players of all ages. Whether it is cheering from a crowd, a compliment from a coach or teammate, or support from a parent, all experiences warm the soul.
